Plastic Mould is a tool for plastic processing industry and plastic forming machine, which endows plastic products with complete configuration and accurate size. According to the different molding methods, can be divided into different types of mold.
1. Injection plastic mold
It is one of the most commonly used forming dies in the production of Thermoplastic products. Injection mold corresponding processing equipment is injection molding machine. The plastic is first heated and melted in the barrel at the bottom of the injection molding machine, and then pushed by the screw or plunger of the injection molding machine, it enters the mold cavity through the nozzle of the injection molding machine and the pouring system of the mold. The plastic is cooled, hardened and molded, and the product is obtained by demoulding.
The structure is usually made up of molding parts, pouring system, guiding parts, pushing mechanism, temperature regulating system, exhaust system, supporting parts and so on. Plastic die steel is used for manufacturing. Injection molding is usually only suitable for the production of thermoplastic products. Injection molding process with the production of plastic products are very extensive. From daily necessities to all kinds of complex electrical appliances, automotive parts and so on are molded by injection mold. It is the most widely used processing method in the production of plastic products.
2. Blow molding
It is used to form plastic containers of hollow products (such as beverage bottles, daily necessities and other packaging containers) a mold. According to the principle of blow molding, there are extrusion blow molding, injection blow molding, injection stretch blow molding, multi-layer blow molding, sheet blow molding and so on. Blow Molding Hollow products corresponding to the equipment is often referred to as plastic blow molding machine. Blow molding is only suitable for the production of thermoplastic products.
3. Extrusion dies
It is a type of mold used to shape plastic products with continuous shapes. Also known as extrusion molding head. Widely used in pipe, bar, monofilament, plate, film, wire and cable coating, profile and other processing.
The corresponding production equipment is a plastic extruder. The principle is that the solid plastic is melted and plasticized under the conditions of heating and rotating the screw of the extruder, and the continuous plastic products with the same cross-section and shape of the die are made through the die of a specific shape. Its manufacturing materials mainly include carbon structural steel, alloy tools and so on. Some extrusion die in need of wear-resistant parts will also set diamond and other wear-resistant materials.
The extrusion process is usually only suitable for the production of Thermoplastic products. It is obviously different from injection mould and compression mould in structure.
4. Plastic mold
This is the plastic plate, sheet as raw material for shaping some of the simpler plastic products of a mold. The principle is that the plastic plate or sheet fixed on the concave or convex die can be deformed and stuck on the cavity of the die by using the method of vacuum opening or Compressed air forming. Mainly used in some daily necessities, food, toys packaging products production.
Because of the low pressure, the plastic mould is made of cast aluminum or non-metal material, and its structure is simple.
5. Compression molding
Compression molding mold includes compression molding and injection molding two types of structure mold. They are a type of die used primarily to form thermosetting polymer, and their corresponding equipment is a pressure forming machine.
The compression molding method heats the mold to the molding temperature (usually 103 ° 108 °) according to the characteristics of the plastic. And then put the measured powder into the mold cavity and the feeding chamber, and close the mold. Plastic in high heat, high pressure under the role of softening viscous flow. After a certain period of time, it is solidified and shaped into the desired product shape.
6. Styrofoam
The principle is that expandable polystyrene can be molded into steam in a mold. There are two types of easy-to-operate molds and hydraulic straight-through styrofoam molds. Mainly used for the production of industrial products packaging products. The mold is made of cast aluminum, stainless steel, bronze, etc.
